As the Season of Creation 2025 comes to an end, we echo the words of Pope Leo XIV, who reminded us that “this is a time to sow seeds of peace and hope.”
From September 1 to October 4, Christians from every corner of the world journeyed together under this year’s theme, “Peace with Creation,” inspired by Isaiah 32:14–18 and the symbol of the Garden of Peace. Churches, communities, and families united in prayer, reflection, and concrete action to care for our common home.
And we are certain: those seeds have been planted.
A Global Symphony of Faith and Action
Across continents, Catholics lived out this call in ways as diverse and vibrant as creation itself.
In the Philippines, young people aged 9 to 19 gathered in the Diocese of Baguio for ecological education workshops, learning to plant fruit trees in their home gardens. Supported by local parishes, teachers, and generous donors, they turned faith into action—one seedling at a time.
In Alabama, USA, faith communities celebrated Sun Day with a postcard campaign urging public officials to support solar power—transforming advocacy into an act of faith and a testimony of hope for clean energy. Alongside them, pilgrims across the country elevated joy through every step of their journeys of faith and care for creation.
