Why do these trainings matter right now?
Eleven years ago, Pope Francis invited all of us to care for our common home through his encyclical Laudato Si’. He asked us to slow down, to listen — to the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor — and to respond together.
Today, that invitation feels even closer. The climate and ecological crises are no longer distant. We see them, we feel them, and many of us wonder how to respond in a way that is faithful, hopeful, and rooted in community.
That is why the Laudato Si’ Animators Training, offered by the Laudato Si’ Movement, returns in April 2026.
Why This Training Exists
The Laudato Si’ Animators Training exists because none of us is meant to carry this concern alone.
They are a space to pause, to learn, and to grow together — a space where faith meets daily life, and where care for creation becomes something we live, not just something we talk about.
Here, formation is not only about knowledge. It is about conversion, discernment, and accompaniment.
What is the Laudato Si’ Animators Training?
The Laudato Si’ Animators Training is a free, online formation experience for Catholics who want to respond to the ecological crisis from their faith.
Together, we explore:
- The message of Laudato Si’ and Laudate Deum
- How our faith speaks to today’s ecological challenges
- What personal ecological conversion looks like in everyday life
- How small, faithful actions can create real change in our communities
Participants come from different countries, cultures, and realities, but share a common desire: to care for our common home with love and responsibility.
