Laudato Si’ Animators in Vietnam
As the Church continues to call on young people to be protagonists of change, the Laudato Si’ Movement (LSM) is inviting those who accompany and guide them- formators of youth, educators, clerics, religious sisters, youth club moderators, catechists and parish leaders – To join the upcoming Laudato Si’ Animators Program for participants from Asia Pacific.
Starting on November 5, 2025, this 6-week, free online formation program aims to equip participants to bring Catholic teaching on integral ecology to life within their local communities, parishes, and schools. Through engaging lectures, small group discussions and interactions with fellow participants from all over Asia Pacific, participants will explore Laudato Si’ in the context of Catholic social teaching and discern practical ways to integrate care for creation into their ministries. Each participant will also design and implement a small ecological initiative, an opportunity to inspire young people to live out ecological conversion in everyday life.
Graduates from this program will become part of the global Laudato Si’ Movement together with more than 18,000 Laudato Si’Animators from all over the world, volunteers who lead their communities to care for our common home.
During the Raising Hope Conference on the 10th anniversary of the Laudato Si’ encyclical, Pope Leo XIV encouraged everyone “especially young people, parents and those who work in local and national administrations and institutions, to play their part in finding solutions for today’s “cultural, spiritual and educational challenges” (Laudato Si’, 202), always striving tenaciously for the common good”.
The Laudato Si’ Animators Program answers this call by empowering youth formators and grassroots leaders in Asia Pacific to initiate and lead their communities toward a renewed relationship with creation.
If you are working with young people and want to help them grow as stewards of our common home, enroll today and become part of a global movement caring for creation, enroll here for free.
