For 10 years, Laudato Si’ has moved millions to act for creation. That light now shines stronger than ever. As we begin this new moment in our Church, we’re called to share that light—with our families, neighbors, and communities.
From prayer gatherings to local cleanups, this week is a time to reflect, act, and grow in ecological conversion. Every gesture of love helps build a better future.
A Decade of Impact
Since 2015, the Laudato Si’ message has led to:
- Thousands of Catholic institutions embracing the Laudato Si’ Action Platform.
- Millions of people participating in global campaigns and moments of reflection.
- Catholic communities everywhere advocating for climate justice in every corner of the world, joining hands with those most affected by the climate crisis.
This week, Pope León XIV sent “a warm greeting” and a call to work for “ecological, social, and environmental justice” to 200 university rectors meeting to discuss COP30, which will take place in Belém Brazil.
