Dilexit Nos – Abide in My Heart

A journey inspired by Dilexit Nos to rediscover the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and allow that love to transform our relationships with God, with one another, and with creation.

Abide in me, as I abide in you.

John 15:4

Sends us outward

This is a journey of encounter. A journey of listening. A journey of returning to love.

What is Dilexit Nos?

He loved us

Dilexit Nos (“He Loved Us”) is the final encyclical of Pope Francis focused on the human and divine love revealed in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The document reminds us that:

  • Every person is created for love
  • Christ knows each of us personally
  • The Heart of Jesus is a source of healing for our world

The Sacred Heart calls us to

Far from being only a private devotion, the Sacred Heart calls us to:

  • Love concretely
  • Defend human dignity
  • Care for our common home

Love that Becomes Action

The Heart of Christ is not distant from the suffering of the world.

Through prayer, reflection, and encounter, we begin to see differently:

The cry of the poor

The beauty of creation

The wounds of division

The possibility of reconciliation

Ecological conversion begins when love reshapes the way we live.
