Organized by the Hispanoamerican region, the November Monthly Prayer Gathering was held, guided by the quote from Laudato Si’ in No. 179: “Society, through non-governmental organizations and intermediate groups, must put pressure on governments to develop more rigorous regulations, procedures and controls. Unless citizens control political power – national, regional and municipal – it will not be possible to control damage to the environment.”
The leading topic was “The prophetic voice of citizenship”.

In addition, an invitation was extended to participate in the next Laudato Si’ Advent retreat, which will take place on Saturday, November 27. Organized by the Hispanoamerican team, it will be an offline meeting to prepare the heart for the Advent season. “Stay awake: there will be signs in the sun, in the moon and in the stars,” says the motto.
Remember that every first Friday of the month we gather to pray and share the monthly topic of our Laudato Si’ Encounter. See you at the next gathering!
