Don’t despair, however: Whether you have one minute – or 15 minutes – we have the perfect activity for you so you can make the most of however much time you have to care for our common home.

1 minute: Sign and share the Healthy People, Healthy Planet petition
10 minutes: Contact local or international figures that can make an exponential impact on the future of our common home. Please see suggested templates in the resources section of the Healthy Planet, Healthy People petition website and below:
- Send an email to the the head of COP15 to set more ambitious goals in the next biodiversity framework
- Send a letter to your local priest to share a message on care for creation
- Send a letter to your department of environment to commit to more ambitious actions at COP15
1 day: Join a Laudato Si’ Circle to learn more about biodiversity
1 week: Commit to leading your community to care for creation by signing up to become a Laudato Si’ Animator. Get started on the training videos that will help you grow as a leader.
Our collaborative efforts, small as they may be, are already impacting communities across the globe. As Pope Francis wrote in Laudato Si’, “The climate is a common good, belonging to all and meant for all. At the global level, it is a complex system linked to many of the essential conditions for human life” (LS23).
