From April 21st to 24th, LSM Board of Directors held its annual meeting in Assisi. There, the new Executive Director of the MLS, Susana Réfega, and two new members of the Board were welcomed: Fr. Michael Perry OFM, Director of the Laudato Si’ Center for Integral Ecology at Siena College, and Kelly Nwachuku-Lavelle, Founder of ElleSolaire.
Additionally, board members Analisa Ramsahai, Father Augusto Zampini-Davies, and Yeb Sanio were present; accompanied by Christina Leaño, LSM Associate Director, and Reba Elliott, LSM Strategy Director.
After a retreat day, marked by the charisma and spirituality of the Laudato Si’ Movement, the Board had two working days to discuss the present and future strategic guidance of the movement.
During the meeting, members also had the opportunity to participate in the launch of “ASSISI Terra Laudato Si’,” a new initiative that offers pilgrims the opportunity to deepen an experience of integral ecology. This project is the result of collaboration between LSM’s new Laudato Si’ Center in Assisi and local partners such as the Franciscans, the diocese and municipality of Assisi, and Pro Civitate Christiana.
